Privacy Policy

The honest summary: your profile is public so people can find you; the promises and cheers between you and another person are private, shown only to the two of you. We collect nothing beyond what the app visibly needs.
What we collect
Your profile (name, handle, photo, bio, optional location and links), the promises you make with other people, and the cheers you send and receive (including voice cheers you choose to record). All of it is content you create on purpose, stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) infrastructure under our app's container. We run no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking.
What is public
Your profile — name, handle, photo, bio, optional location, and links — is visible to people on HumanFace so trusted people can find you.
What stays private
The promises and cheers between you and another person are visible only to the two of you. Who you block and reports you file are visible only to us for moderation. Your subscription status is processed by Apple; we never see payment details. We never read your contacts — invites go through the share sheet you control.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Apple's push service can notify you about cheers, a ❤️ that landed, and new connections from your people. The notification pipeline is Apple's (CloudKit subscriptions); we operate no push servers of our own.
Moderation
Reports you file include who you reported and why, and are reviewed by us. We access reported content only as needed to act on the report.
Deletion
Deleting your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) permanently removes your profile, your people, every cheer sent and received, and all your connections and blocks — from our container, not just your device.
Your rights
Write to privacy@humanface.app to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar rights, this is how you exercise them. [Data controller details — counsel to complete.]
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that collects more, we will say so in the app, in plain words, before it happens.
