Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

HumanFace is built to keep your data on your device and in your own iCloud account. This policy explains what the app touches and what it doesn't.

What stays on your device

Your goals, schedules, check-ins, cheers, stickers, avatars, and proof photos and videos are stored on your iPhone. Sticker cutouts from your photos are created entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework — your photos are not sent anywhere to make a sticker.

Sharing with your team

When you share a goal, the goal and its check-ins sync between team members through Apple iCloud (CloudKit), under Apple's privacy terms. We do not run our own servers and cannot read your shared data.

Optional AI label suggestions

If — and only if — you add your own OpenAI API key in Settings, the app can send a sticker image to OpenAI to suggest a label. This is off by default, uses your key, and is covered by OpenAI's privacy policy. Remove the key at any time to disable it.

What we don't do

Permissions

Camera and photo library access are requested only when you make a sticker or attach a proof, and are used only for that purpose.
